We are delighted to invite you to a FREE fire safety seminar, taking place on Thursday 30th April 2015 at the RICS, London.

The CPD accredited seminar will be approximately 2 1/2 hours and will count towards your continuing professional development.

This event will cover key aspects of managing fire-related risk in buildings, with particular emphasis on regulatory compliance obligations from both a landlord and business perspective. The speaker will draw on his experience in supporting many clients in complex and multi-occupied buildings and use engaging case study examples to bring the subject matter to life. Delegates will be provided with an understanding of fire safety fundamentals including:

  • An overview of guidance and British Standards
  • Fire authority and emergency response approach
  • Fire authority inspections – what to expect
  • Disabled persons evacuation and the landlord’s role

Following the seminar there will be refreshments and a chance to network with like-minded peers, as well as an opportunity to meet our team regarding any aspect of statutory property compliance and risk management. There will also be opportunities to learn about other ways in which Alcumus can assist you with managing your QSHE regulatory obligations, including GRC software, health and safety consultancy, accredited inspection and monitoring, COSHH risk management and UKAS accredited certification.
